Firstly, we love to collaborate! SSEAMS was founded by apparel industry collective who have spent the last 3 decades working in some of the world’s most renowned brands, traveled extensively, met and worked with incredibly talented people and have been an integral part of creating brands success stories. Now, we share our world with you by introducing you to our network and valuable insights, knowing that we share the same curious minds to bring informed opinions.

We welcome clients to visit and share their brand plans with us so we can help develop sustainable apparel solutions. Expertise lies in strategic planning projects through to brand creative direction, apparel design and development, alongside experienced product management and materials knowledge to make all the difference. Our private client portfolio includes brands at home and overseas.

Diane and Matthew head up the UK side, Matthew, south of England and Diane located at the Scottish studio, with eyes on supporting brands with their Made in Scotland/UK ambition. They have teamed up with talented garment manufacturers and mills, and invite brands to get in touch. Matthew is our resident Creative Director and we are fortunate to have him support this part of the UK with his talents. Diane tends to hustle brands to reach their full potential and on hand to help with strategic brand direction with clients, and takes the lead on editing SSEAMS magazine.

Ruth is based in Vancouver, propping up Raw Materials Innovation. Ask her anything about a fabric…she will find the answer if she doesn’t know it already! We are also excited for the future to discover what our resources in both Scotland and Canada can offer knowing their close relationship.

Our international market support includes servicing brands, makers and mills and our primary aim is to bring all 3 together to drive sustainable apparel solutions. Bravo to that!
